Transportation changes please read 09/24/2022
Good afternoon, Families,
Bus update starting on Monday September 26th, 2022.
Bus 1705 will be picking up and dropping off the student whose bus stop is :
Sam’s Club in Gatlin Blvd., the time of pick up will be 7:30am please make sure that you are there 5-10 minutes earlier than the scheduled bus time. He is a new bus driver and will need to acclimate himself. The Meeting St., stop will now be picked up and dropped off by 2014. Pick up time will remain at 7:15am. Meeting St., riders will no longer have to wait for a late bus. They will get on the bus right after school, so please remind your students to go straight to the bus.
As a reminder, the bus driver is on a schedule and if you are late, chances are you may miss the bus. He has been instructed to leave at the scheduled time. Also, please do not block the bus from leaving or come to the door once drivers have shut the door and are about to take off. The bus driver will not let your student on the bus because it is a safety issue. Again, make sure that you arrive at your scheduled stop 5-10 minutes before.
The only changes to any of the routes or buses are the above-mentioned ones only.
Parents, Mr. Rivera wants to apologize for not getting back to some of you who have been sending emails in a timely manner. He is trying to catch up on all the old emails and working diligently on the waiting list to get as many students on buses as possible. The good news is we have hired three more bus drivers and are waiting for their clearance that should clear a significant number of students off the waiting list. He is also working on creating new routes to eliminate the depot stops. Please make sure to pay attention to the blast and emails that will be going out for the changes that are happening. If you are not on our blast, please make sure to do so.
