Born in Croatia, Bruno Soltic received his B.A. in Theology from Matija Vlacic Illirik. He later moved to the United States and gained his Master’s degreefrom Abilene Christian University. Soltic has served as an aerial photographer for numerous archaeological excavations and produced a variety of popular educational videos which outline different aspects of an excavation. One of his videos, ‘Tel Burna - Day on the Dig’ is exhibited at Skirball Cultural Centre in Los Angeles. Soltic was pioneer staff at Ilibayak, Kazakhstan excavations and a seasonal staff at current Tel Burna excavations. Now residing in Vero Beach, Florida, Soltic teaches at Aspen Award winning Indian River State College as Adjunct Professor of Religion and Sommerset College Prep Academy. He is an avid speaker of multiple languages and is fluent in speaking Croatian, Slovenian, Serbian, German, French and English.
